Rakesh alleged that huge plots of land were purchased in the name of RCP’s wife and his two daughters in Ashthawan and Islampur blocks of Nalanda district between 20. “When I procured sufficient documents, I made a formal petition before the party,” he told reporters. Rakesh said he had been procuring the documents of land purchased by RCP’s family for the last 10 years. Though Kushwaha did not mention the name of the party workers who made the allegations, JD(U)’s Rahui (Nalanda) block president Rakesh Mukhiya on Saturday told the media that he made the allegations against RCP and his family. “You are well aware that our honourable leader (CM Nitish Kumar) has been working with a policy of ‘zero tolerance’ on the issue of corruption and he has remained untainted in his long political career,” Kushwaha stated in the letter and also claimed that several irregularities have been noticed in the properties acquired by RCP’s family. Kushwaha had also sent him a copy of the party workers’ allegations. In a letter sent to RCP on Thursday, JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha had asked him to give his ‘point-wise’ clear-cut explanation on the allegations raised by two party workers of Nalanda, the home district of RCP as well as of CM Nitish Kumar.
